Shipping & Pickup Policy

All BareBone Roots orders are carefully packed and shipped from Savoy, Massachusetts. Because our products are handcrafted in small batches, please review the details below before placing your order.


Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days.

Please note:

  • Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays.

  • During high-volume periods or seasonal releases, processing times may extend.

  • Orders containing handmade soap may require additional production time. Soap requires a 4–6 week curing period, and larger orders may be subject to batch availability.

If there is a significant delay beyond normal processing time, we will notify you using the contact information provided at checkout.


Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

Shipping timelines vary based on carrier and destination.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information via email.

Delivery dates provided by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


Transfer of Responsibility

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order is delivered to the shipping carrier.

BareBone Roots is not responsible for delays, lost packages, damaged parcels, or delivery issues once the shipment has been accepted by the carrier.


Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking indicates that your package was delivered but you have not received it:

  1. Check with neighbors or household members.

  2. Contact your local carrier.

  3. File a claim directly with the carrier.

BareBone Roots is not responsible for packages marked as “Delivered.”

While we may assist with documentation when possible, reimbursement for lost or stolen packages must be pursued through the shipping provider.


Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address:

  • The customer is responsible for reshipping fees.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed.


Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 30 days of delivery and include:

  • Clear photos of the damaged item

  • Photos of the shipping box

  • Photos of the shipping label

Replacement eligibility is governed by our Return & Refund Policy.


Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available in Savoy, Massachusetts.

If local pickup is selected:

  • You will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready.

  • Pickup must be arranged within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Orders not collected within 30 days may be subject to cancellation at our discretion.

BareBone Roots is not responsible for orders once they have been marked as “Ready for Pickup” and made available at the agreed-upon location.


Farmers Market & Event Pickup

If you select pickup at a farmers market or local event:

  • You are responsible for collecting your order during the specified event hours.

  • If you do not attend the event, you must contact us to arrange alternate pickup.

  • We are not responsible for missed events or weather-related cancellations.

Orders not collected at scheduled events may require additional arrangements or shipping fees.


International Shipping (If Offered)

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.

BareBone Roots is not responsible for customs delays, seized packages, or international shipping disruptions.


Order Refusal & Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse shipments for suspected fraud, policy violations, or other lawful reasons.
